A binary code that dictates how we exist, how we introduce ourselves, and how we express ourselves. Man or Woman. 0 or 1. Right or Wrong.    <\/p>\n\n<p>This code, however, is not our nature. It is an <strong>artificial construct of social conventions that has trapped us in gender binaries, setting aside the multifaceted richness and complexity of human existence.<\/strong> These dichotomies act as walls, as they deprive us of the right to see ourselves outside of stereotypes and force us to conform to standards that are often absolute and rigid. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"981\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/diversitynews.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/unnamed-981x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8684\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong>This year, in Thessaloniki, we say: It\u2019s time to \u201cCrack the Code.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are breaking the code of gender roles that demand that all people conform to traditional notions of femininity and masculinity. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We break the code that treats any deviation from the binary model as a system error. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are breaking the code of silence and invisibility, fighting for a world where gender identity and expression are a realm of freedom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The history of the movement, from Stonewall onward, right up to the streets of our own city, is a history of constantly challenging the \u201cshoulds,\u201d of constant negotiation, and of constant demands. We fought for the right to self-determination over our bodies, we challenged imposed norms, and now, it\u2019s time to take it a step further. <\/p>\n\n<p>We invite everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or gender expression and characteristics, to join this march. Let\u2019s leave behind the restrictive algorithms of patriarchy and social prejudices and create a new language: one of visibility and equality. <\/p>\n\n<p>Our lives aren&#8217;t black and white. They&#8217;re a spectrum of colors that no convention can limit. <\/p>\n\n<p>From <strong>June 15 to 20, 2026,<\/strong> we\u2019re breaking free from labels and binary categories.
