Viewed through the lens of diversity and inclusion, the findings take on particular significance: not all employees experience work in the same way. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Economic Reality and Unequal Work Experiences<\/h4>\n\n<p>The survey reveals a clear distinction: employees who are struggling financially experience work differently than those who are financially secure. The majority of those who \u201cstruggle\u201d to meet basic needs show lower trust in management, less satisfaction, and increased insecurity. <\/p>\n\n<p>In contrast, higher-paid employees feel a stronger connection to their supervisors, greater job security, and an overall more positive work experience. This discrepancy underscores that financial status is a critical factor influencing equal opportunity and a sense of belonging in the workplace. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What matters to employees<\/h4>\n\n<p>Workers in Greece place particular emphasis on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>occupational safety (84%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fair recognition and advancement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>working with outstanding colleagues and supervisors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>linking work to personal values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Although skills development and flexibility are considered important, they are not top priorities. Policies that support the advancement of individuals from less privileged groups are rated even lower\u2014a finding that suggests that a culture of inclusion has not yet been fully embedded as a core value. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trust and Leadership: An Uneven Relationship<\/h4>\n\n<p>Trust in supervisors varies significantly depending on income. A higher percentage of employees who are more financially secure report that: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>their superiors are keeping their promises<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are concerned about their well-being<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In contrast, low-wage workers often feel that they are neither heard nor supported.
