The decision to include beneficiaries in the 74 Digital Empowerment Hubs for People with Disabilities is not just another program\u2014it is a decisive step toward an inclusive society. The program equips people with disabilities with critical skills for their daily lives: safe internet navigation, use of modern communication tools, access to gov.gr services, and the ability to conduct online transactions, such as e-banking. In this way, technology becomes a tool for equality, empowerment, and meaningful participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By decision of the Minister, the applications were approved, and the enrollment of the first 2,740 beneficiaries in the Pilot Program for the Digital Empowerment of the Elderly and People with Disabilities has begun, creating a strong support network across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c74 Digital Empowerment Hubs bring digital knowledge closer to people with disabilities. For us, accessibility is not an abstract concept. It is a right to knowledge, autonomy, and daily participation. \u201cThrough this program, we are creating an organized support network of 2,740 spots, so that no one is left behind in an era where digital literacy is a prerequisite for equal participation in social and economic life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beneficiaries will be trained at the Hubs, with transparency and priority, ensuring fair access for all. The extensive network of 74 Hubs covers the entire country, demonstrating that digital empowerment is not a privilege of the few but a right of all citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project is implemented by the General Secretariat for Social Solidarity and the Fight Against Poverty, in collaboration with EDYTE S.A. and IN.ESAME, and is part of the broader plan \u201cDigital Education and Empowerment of Older Adults and People with Disabilities,\u201d funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
