Under the slogan \u201cYour City, Your Festival,\u201d Athens is celebrating with more than 300 free events, offering a rich and diverse program for all ages and interests.<\/p>\n\n
Unique experiences await at every corner of the city: from a jazz band from North Carolina in the National Garden and the State School of Dance performance on the Arsakeio terrace, to the Winter Swimmers\u2019 appearance at the National Archaeological Museum, the big parties on Lycabettus Hill, Zappeion, and Kerameikos, the traditional folk festivals, and the summer screenings of beloved films. The festive opening on May Day also holds a special place, with the traditional picnic at Plato\u2019s Academy, which marks the start of the events. <\/p>\n\n
