With an important initiative bearing the stamp of the Deputy Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Ms. Elena Rapti , the Ministry is moving forward with supporting 80,000 private sector employees through the innovative “Inclusion” program, which is financed by the Recovery Fund.

This is an action that highlights the state’s commitment to strengthening equality and social cohesion, offering three hours of asynchronous education on issues of inclusion and diversity, accompanied by financial compensation of 100 euros for each participant.

The program, which will take place during the months of July and August, was presented during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), where Ms. Rapti analyzed the broader vision of the National Action Plan for Gender Equality (NAPGE).

During her statement, the Deputy Minister referred to critical initiatives related to the strengthening of female employment, the reconciliation of professional and family life, the reduction of the gender wage gap, as well as the promotion of women’s education and training, with an emphasis on the fields of research and technology.

Particular emphasis was placed on the innovative “Equality Label”, which will be awarded to businesses that implement good equality practices, such as equal pay and the promotion of family-friendly policies. This label is a powerful tool for differentiating and enhancing the profile of businesses in the 21st century labor market.

The President of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yannis Masoutis, praised the importance of these interventions and stated the Chamber’s intention to cooperate closely with the Ministry, so that its member businesses can be informed and actively participate.

The digital application portal for the “Inclusion” program is expected to open in early July.
