At a time when 39% of LGBTQ+ youth have considered suicide
last year, the choice to close one of the few institutions that
offered them targeted, specialized support is more than
political decision. It is a loss of responsibility. It is indifference to human life.
The “Press 3” line has been a lifeline for hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ youth,
offering not just words of comfort, but professional help and
