The opening event of the EU Diversity Month is just around the corner! On 22 April, more than 200 representatives of businesses, civil society organisations, local authorities and Diversity Charters will gather to take part in inspiring discussions on inclusive hiring practices, AI and the role of inclusive leadership.
This year, the EU Diversity Month places a special emphasis on building inclusive market for all. Europe’s labour markets are facing profound social and economic shifts that have deepened existing challenges for workers. Nearly one in five working-age people remain outside the workforce, which translates to around 51 million people. It is therefore crucial to address pertaining discriminatory hiring practices, redefine diversity and inclusion, and come together with practical and targeted solutions.
The opening of the EU Diversity Month, taking place already next Wednesday, is an event specifically designed to join forces, exchange promising practices and brainstorm on how to build a truly inclusive labour market for all. All participants will have a possibility to attend an inspiring keynote speech on inclusive hiring practices, a unique opportunity to come up with practical solutions during one of the parallel sessions focusing on redefining DEI, AI at the workplace or inclusive leadership, as well as listen in and exchange personal testimonies and experiences.
