Free interactive/hands-on workshop by KEAN and Diversity Charter Greece on intersectionality, inclusion, and recognizing stereotypes in the workplace

An interactive/experiential workshop titled “Multiple Inequalities: How You Get Excluded Where You Least Expect It” is being held in Athens, with the aim of sparking a discussion about intersecting forms of inequality, empowering workers, and practices that can contribute to creating more inclusive organizational cultures.

In today’s workplace, exclusion is not always obvious. It often arises from the intersection of many different identities and experiences—such as gender, age, disability, ethnic origin, gender expression, gender identity, or sexual orientation—creating multiple and intersecting inequalities that affect employees’ daily lives and opportunities for advancement.

In addition to other topics, the workshop will place particular emphasis on how gender stereotypes influence our perceptions and behaviors, often even before we are born. Social expectations surrounding gender shape the way we perceive roles, abilities, and career choices, influencing both our personal and professional paths.

Location: Escape Athens (130 3rd September Street, Athens).
