Neurodiversity refers to the natural diversity of human neurology. It includes neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD , dyslexia , and autism spectrum disorders .
The philosophy of neurodiversity rejects the “pathologizing” of these conditions, recognizing them as natural variations of human cognition.
In an increasingly competitive world, companies are striving to become more inclusive and diverse, in order to – among other things – achieve their adaptation to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria.
While, understandably, racial, sexual, and gender diversity are more often brought to the forefront, Neurodiversity in the workforce has the potential to greatly and measurably expand a business’s efficiency and productivity , as long as neurodiverse employees feel heard and that their diversity and talents are recognized.
