In an era where Diversity and Inclusion policies are under attack, the Group embeds the values of Diversity and Inclusion at the core of its culture. The human being remains at the center of every initiative, not as a slogan, but as a daily practice.

For the Group, DEI is not a theory or a trend, but a fundamental strategy. The approach focuses on three key areas: strengthening inclusive leadership, gender equality and empowering people with disabilities.

The Group’s culture is based on mutual respect, equal treatment and the ongoing support of its people. By respecting the voice and contribution of each employee, it is constantly shaping its footprint in the world of work and society.

The signing of the Diversity Charter constitutes a clear position in favor of equality and against discrimination, which applies to all subsidiaries of the Group, regardless of country.

Recognizing that universal accessibility is key to social equality, the Group is upgrading its infrastructure – from special wheelchairs and accessible toilets to appropriate parking spaces – substantially facilitating the daily lives of people with disabilities.

At the same time, it enhances the functionality of its digital services, ensuring that its platforms are friendly to all users.

The continuous upgrading of its staff’s skills is an integral part of this strategy, ensuring that customer service is tailored to modern needs and offers immediate, meaningful solutions.

Within 2024, accessibility audits were carried out in all IKEA stores in Attica and at INTERSPORT in River West, in collaboration with SKEP, to identify and address obstacles for people with mobility, hearing and visual disabilities.

In addition, the company implemented a special training program for accessible communication materials and organized the “FINGERTIPS” action with the participation of volunteers and people with disabilities.

The Group’s equal opportunities policy is clear and transparent, implementing measures that uphold equality regardless of gender, age, nationality, faith or sexual orientation.

Women represent 56% of the workforce, 45% of administrative positions, while their participation in the Board of Directors reaches 44%.

Initiatives such as the mentoring program with Women on Top, special actions for Women’s Day, and the Google #IAmRemarkable workshop, reflect the will for true equality and empowerment.

Training in the field of Diversity and Inclusion is progressing dynamically, with 367 employees having completed the “Diversity & Inclusion” e-learning program by 2024.

The Group’s Suitability Policy promotes participation and representation, aiming for diverse and innovative leadership. The 44% participation of women on the Board exceeds the minimum target of 25%, demonstrating the commitment to progress.

With criteria of diversity and complex skills, the selection of executives is based on open and dynamic processes, responding to the demands of modern governance.

The Group’s mission is clear: people are at the center of everything. The uniqueness of each individual is recognized, with respect and practical support, creating a space for development and inclusion for all.
