One year after hosting EuroPride , Thessaloniki once again declares its presence at the forefront of the fight for human rights, diversity and inclusion. The 13th Thessaloniki Pride , northern Greece’s largest celebration of love and equality, began on Monday, June 16 and culminates on Saturday, June 21, 2025 with the grand pride parade at the White Tower.
With this year’s slogan “Not a step back” , Thessaloniki Pride sends a clear message: the rights of LGBTQI+ people are non-negotiable and will not yield to waves of intolerance or political expediency. It is a week of activities — artistic events, educational workshops, discussions, exhibitions and, of course, the grand closing concert.
As every year, this year too, Diversity Charter Greece is making a strong presence at Thessaloniki Pride, actively supporting an institution that is not just a celebration, but a resounding act of advocacy and social responsibility. The Diversity Charter for Greek businesses and local governments stands firmly by the side of the LGBTQI+ community, reminding us that inclusion is not a choice — it is an obligation . With a strong voice and a clear position, it supports the creation of a world where respect for diversity is an everyday practice — in the workplace, in institutions, in society. Because equality is not negotiable, and progress requires allies with a steady compass.
After the successful event in Athens, the baton is passed again to Thessaloniki , which is becoming a living symbol of acceptance and solidarity. From academia to local government and civil society, the city is uniting its voices for a more just and open society.
Thessaloniki Pride 2025 is not just an event, but a powerful social institution, proving that progressive change comes through collectivism, participation and constant advocacy .
