Autism Inclusion in the Workplace: Practical Strategies for Professionals

2 Ελάχιστη ανάγνωση

Integrating autistic individuals into the workplace requires an understanding of the characteristics of the autism spectrum, different communication and interaction styles, and the implementation of practices that are adapted to and respectful of individual needs. Despite progress in diversity and inclusion, autism often remains insufficiently understood, which can lead to employment barriers, misunderstandings, and unsatisfactory work experiences for those affected.

This workshop aims to provide professionals with essential knowledge about autism, practical tools to promote workplace inclusion, and a space for discussion around a specific case study, with the goal of co-creating strategies applicable within organizations.

Agenda:

  • Introduction – Why talk about autism in the workplace today?
  • Autism and work: key concepts to understand
  • Inclusive practices
  • Mini case study and group exchange
  • Conclusion
